Eleven years after I finished my studies of Translation and Interpretation in UAB, it´s back to School!
Who hasn´t dreamt of being a policeman, a fireman, a nurse, a lawyer or a doctor when we were only in Primary School? We all had dreams about what we would like to be once we had become adults. We were all somehow unconciously obligued to have a dream about the future... And me, unlike most of the boys of my age, I wanted to become a teacher. That was my secret vocation.
With the years, some have been able to make their dream come true, some others had to renounce this. They might not have had the means, or maybe, this childhood dream never had an important role in their lives. We were only kids. In my particular case, my life moved into a different direction. The thriving tourist industry and the magic of travelling easily called my attention and gave me the chance to put my languages in use. These eleven years devoted to the tourist industry have provided me with professional maturity to meet new challenges, so the time has come to wake up that childhood vocational spirit, always vivid and vibrant all through the years, and going back to school. First as a CAP student, then hopefully as a teacher.
